Clay tile roof replacement
After years of Texas storms took their toll, this Steiner Ranch restaurant needed more than a patch job. Season after season of sun, wind, and driving rain had worn the old tile roof past the point of simple repairs — and for a busy restaurant, a failing roof isn’t just a maintenance issue. It puts the dining room, the kitchen, and the whole guest experience at risk.
So we did it right. We tore off the aging tile and installed a brand-new clay tile system — a material prized for both its durability and its classic, upscale look that fits a property as well-known as Steiner Ranch. Clay tile shrugs off harsh Texas weather and holds its beauty for decades, making it as smart an investment as it is a handsome one.
The real protection, though, lives underneath. We installed all-new flashings at every valley, joint, and penetration — the trouble spots where leaks almost always begin — and laid down a premium ice-and-water shield underlayment to create a fully sealed, waterproof barrier beneath the tile. Together, they guard against wind-driven rain and standing water long before either can reach the building.
The result is a roof that keeps the doors open and the dining room dry — weather-tight, low-maintenance, and built to stand up to whatever comes next.
